Modeled in: Autodesk Inventor | Unwrapped and Rendered in: Autodesk 3ds Max

Sector Imperialis Basilicanum is a hard-surface environment study inspired by the monumental gothic architecture of the Warhammer 40K universe. The project explores large-scale architectural composition, structural hierarchy, and intricate ornamental detailing while preserving the imposing visual language that defines Imperial architecture.

Particular attention was given to arches, buttresses, columns, decorative reliefs, layered surface detailing, and modular construction. The study examines how architectural rhythm, scale, and mechanical ornamentation combine to create a believable environment suitable for tabletop terrain, game assets, or cinematic visualization.

The clay presentation highlights the underlying geometry, architectural proportions, and hard-surface construction before the texturing and material development stages. This allows the model’s composition, structural complexity, and design language to remain the primary focus of the study.
