This organic rim concept explores the relationship between engineered precision and naturally flowing forms. Developed in Autodesk Inventor and prepared for visualization in 3ds Max, the study investigates how organic surface patterns can be integrated into an automotive wheel while maintaining structural coherence, manufacturability, and visual balance.
Particular attention was given to radial repetition, spoke integration, surface transitions, weight distribution, and overall silhouette development. The project examines how biomorphic design principles can influence wheel architecture, creating a concept that balances sculptural aesthetics with functional automotive design requirements.
The clay presentation highlights form development, geometric rhythm, and surface continuity without the influence of materials, reflections, or textures. This allows the wheel’s construction logic, organic spoke network, and overall proportions to remain the primary focus of the study.
