Chocolate Donut is an original food visualization study exploring organic surface detailing, material development, and photorealistic rendering. Created entirely in Autodesk 3ds Max, the project transforms a simple confectionery form into a visually rich digital asset through procedural modeling, handcrafted surface refinement, and physically based materials. Particular attention was given to the irregular chocolate coating, edge variation, subtle surface imperfections, and realistic shading to recreate the tactile qualities of handcrafted chocolate. Controlled studio lighting and carefully balanced reflections emphasize depth, richness, and material realism, resulting in a convincing product visualization that combines technical precision with artistic presentation.
