Breyton Race GTS

Breyton “Race GTS” Rim Model
Modeled in: 3ds Max
Source: Breyton Race GTS Wheel Collection
This hard-surface modeling study explores the design language of the Breyton Race GTS wheel, a lightweight multi-spoke design inspired by European performance and motorsport engineering. Developed entirely in 3ds Max, the project focuses on wheel proportions, spoke geometry, hub construction, rim profile, and the relationship between structural efficiency and visual refinement.
Particular attention was given to spoke curvature, center hub integration, bolt pattern placement, rim depth, edge transitions, and overall structural continuity. The study investigates how performance-oriented wheel design can be translated into a production-ready digital asset while preserving the distinctive styling, engineering intent, and dynamic character of the original wheel.
The clay presentation highlights form development, geometric accuracy, and surface continuity without the influence of materials, reflections, or textures. This allows the wheel’s construction, proportions, engineering logic, and overall silhouette to remain the primary focus of the study.
