Star Wars Droid

Star Wars Droid Model
Modeled by: Kemal Korkmaz | Designed in: Autodesk Inventor | Materials & Rendering: Substance Painter & i-Ray
Star Wars Droid is a hard-surface modeling and visualization study inspired by the iconic design language of the Star Wars universe. Developed entirely in Autodesk Inventor, the project focuses on translating cinematic science-fiction aesthetics into a mechanically believable three-dimensional model while maintaining clean industrial construction and manufacturing-inspired forms.
Particular attention was given to panel segmentation, structural proportions, mechanical detailing, realistic surface wear, and material variation. Substance Painter was used to develop layered metallic finishes with controlled weathering, while i-Ray provided physically based lighting and rendering to emphasize depth, realism, and visual storytelling. The project demonstrates the integration of engineering-oriented modeling techniques with professional product visualization workflows.
Star Wars and related designs are the intellectual property of Lucasfilm Ltd. and The Walt Disney Company.
