Gothic Tracery is a digital reconstruction of a historic Gothic tracery pattern based on a reference published in F. S. Meyer’s Handbook of Ornament (1917). The project focuses on recreating the flowing stone geometry, proportional harmony, and ornamental craftsmanship characteristic of Gothic architecture using modern hard-surface modeling techniques. Created in Plasticity and prepared for rendering in Autodesk 3ds Max, the study emphasizes geometric precision, clean topology, and faithful interpretation while preserving the elegance and visual rhythm of the original historical reference.
