A Stock Rim Design for “Prototype for Fiat” Updated Version 1.1

Designed and Modeled by: Kemal Korkmaz | Modeled in: Plasticity | Rendered in: Substance Painter & i-Ray

Fiat Prototype Rim Design Details presents a close-up study of the original wheel concept developed for the Fiat “Waterdrop” concept vehicle. Rather than focusing on the overall wheel form, this presentation highlights the design language, surface refinement, and engineering details that define the final production-oriented appearance. The illuminated center cap, integrated branding, and precision-machined forms were carefully developed to reinforce the concept vehicle’s clean and futuristic identity.

The model was created entirely in Plasticity with particular attention given to surface continuity, panel transitions, center hub integration, edge refinement, and manufacturing feasibility. This detailed visualization demonstrates how subtle design decisions contribute to both the visual character and technical credibility of the wheel. Physically based materials and controlled studio lighting were used to emphasize the quality of the surfacing, material contrast, and precision of the finished design.
