This sci-fi prop design explores futuristic industrial aesthetics through a compact hard-surface form developed in Plasticity. Inspired by the concept work of Robert Hodri and Colin Geller, the project focuses on translating a stylized two-dimensional design into a fully realized three-dimensional asset while preserving its distinctive silhouette and visual identity.
Particular attention was given to panel integration, structural layering, surface transitions, and mechanical detailing. The design balances clean geometric forms with functional engineering cues, creating a believable futuristic object suitable for concept visualization, game environments, science-fiction worldbuilding, and digital asset development.
The final presentation highlights form development, hard-surface construction, and surface refinement through physically based materials and realistic rendering. This allows the object’s industrial character, craftsmanship, and production quality to remain the primary focus of the study.
