This work-in-progress clay render showcases the modeling stage of the Vitra V-Care Smart Closet, a contemporary smart sanitary product that combines advanced hygiene technologies with a clean and minimalist industrial design language. Developed entirely in Autodesk 3ds Max, the project focuses on precision surface modeling, ergonomic proportions, and production-oriented product development.

Particular attention was given to smooth surface transitions, lid integration, dimensional accuracy, structural continuity, and the relationship between functional engineering and visual simplicity. The study explores how modern sanitary products can balance usability, comfort, and refined aesthetics while maintaining a clean manufacturing-ready form.

This clay presentation highlights form development, geometric precision, and surface continuity before materials, texturing, lighting, and final rendering. It allows the product’s design intent, construction logic, and overall silhouette to remain the primary focus of the study.
