This 3D modeling study presents the BMW 666M wheel design, a forged multi-spoke wheel recognized for its lightweight construction and high-performance styling developed for BMW M vehicles. Modeled in Autodesk Inventor and prepared for visualization in 3ds Max, the project focuses on accurately recreating the wheel’s spoke architecture, proportions, rim profile, and structural design language.

Particular attention was given to spoke distribution, hub integration, rim depth, edge transitions, and surface continuity. The study investigates how complex forged wheel geometry can be translated into a clean, production-ready digital model while preserving the distinctive visual identity and engineering characteristics of the original design.

The clay presentation highlights form development, geometric precision, and surface continuity without the influence of materials, reflections, or textures. This allows the wheel’s construction logic, spoke geometry, and overall silhouette to remain the primary focus of the study.
